Each chunk of a resumable upload was buffered in a fresh RepeatableReader
which grew by appending, so bulk transfers churned up to a chunk size (10
MiB by default) of heap per chunk and GC pressure.
Buffer chunks instead with multipart.NewRW from the global page pool
instead so memory is reused across uploads and bounded by rclone's
central memory management.
A source which delivers fewer bytes than its declared size now fails
before the chunk is sent with an unexpected EOF error rather than being
rejected by the transport.
Note that accounting now happens as the chunk is read into the buffer
rather than as it is sent, as in the drive backend.
When both /me/drives and /me/drive fail during config (for example an
account-level 403 serviceReadOnly "Database Is Read Only"), send the
config state machine to the existing manual drive ID entry state
instead of dead-ending at choose_type with the raw error. The drive
itself remains usable when only the enumeration API is blocked.

When --onedrive-av-override is set and the object is malware-flagged,
download via Microsoft Graph beta contentStream then /content with
Prefer: forceInfectedDownload, and keep Prefer (and AVOverride) on the
SharePoint redirect without re-encoding tempauth.
Clean files keep using the stable v1.0 /content path so permanently
enabled av_override does not put all traffic on beta APIs.
AI-assisted change; tested against OneDrive for Business with
application permissions (client_credentials).
The unauthenticated follow-up to /content redirects used Client.Do,
which does not check HTTP status. A 403 malwareDetected JSON body was
therefore written as file content and surfaced only as a size mismatch.
Check the status code, surface malware errors clearly, and avoid
suggesting --onedrive-av-override when it is already set.
Microsoft has been progressively disabling sharing invitations on
both Business and Personal accounts - the driveItem invite API
returns 400 sharingFailed for any recipient on affected accounts -
which makes the permission writing tests impossible. Probe the API
once and skip the tests which need it when it is refused.
Add tenant_url configuration option for accessing OneDrive/SharePoint
without admin privileges. When tenant_url is set, rclone uses the
SharePoint v2.0 API endpoint instead of the standard Microsoft Graph
API.

Before this change it was giving back "401 Unauthorized" however
removing the "Authorization: XXXX" from the request fixes the problem
as the auth is in the URL already.
Before this change, rclone would crash if no metadata was updated.
This could happen if the --onedrive-metadata-permissions read was
supplied but metadata to write was supplied.

This was removed as part of #1716 to fix rclone uploads taking double
the space.
7f744033d8 onedrive: Removed upload cutoff and always do session uploads
As far as I can see, two revisions are still being created for single
part uploads so the default for this flag is set to -1, off.
However it may be useful for experimentation.
See: #8545
Before this change, sometimes, perhaps on heavily loaded sharepoint
servers, uploads would sometimes fail with the error:
{"error":{"code":"itemNotFound","message":"The upload session was not found"}}
This retries the upload after a 5 second delay up to --low-level-retries times.

This commit modernizes Go usage. This was done with:
go run golang.org/x/tools/gopls/internal/analysis/modernize/cmd/modernize@latest -fix -test ./...
Then files needed to be `go fmt`ed and a few comments needed to be
restored.
The modernizations include replacing
- if/else conditional assignment by a call to the built-in min or max functions added in go1.21
- sort.Slice(x, func(i, j int) bool) { return s[i] < s[j] } by a call to slices.Sort(s), added in go1.21
- interface{} by the 'any' type added in go1.18
- append([]T(nil), s...) by slices.Clone(s) or slices.Concat(s), added in go1.21
- loop around an m[k]=v map update by a call to one of the Collect, Copy, Clone, or Insert functions from the maps package, added in go1.21
- []byte(fmt.Sprintf...) by fmt.Appendf(nil, ...), added in go1.19
- append(s[:i], s[i+1]...) by slices.Delete(s, i, i+1), added in go1.21
- a 3-clause for i := 0; i < n; i++ {} loop by for i := range n {}, added in go1.22
This adds support for the client credential flow oauth method which
requires some special handling in onedrive:
- Special scopes are required
- The tenant is required
- The tenant needs to be used in the oauth URLs
This also:
- refactors the oauth config creation so it isn't duplicated
- defaults the drive_id to the previous one in the config
- updates the documentation

This commit reorganises the oauth code to use our own config struct
which has all the info for the normal oauth method and also the client
credentials flow method.
It updates all backends which use lib/oauthutil to use the new config
struct which shouldn't change any functionality.
It also adds code for dealing with the client credential flow config
which doesn't require the use of a browser and doesn't have or need a
refresh token.

We changed the precision of the onedrive personal backend in
c053429b9c from 1mS to 1S.
However the tests did not get updated. This changes the time tests to
use `fstest.AssertTimeEqualWithPrecision` which compares with
precision so hopefully won't break again.
This reduces the precision advertised by the backend from 1ms to 1s
for OneDrive personal accounts.
The precision was set to 1ms as part of:
1473de3f04 onedrive: add metadata support
which was released in v1.66.0.
However it appears not all OneDrive personal accounts support 1ms time
precision and that Microsoft may be migrating accounts away from this
to backends which only support 1s precision.
Fixes#8101
There were a lot of instances of this lint error
printf: non-constant format string in call to github.com/rclone/rclone/fs.Logf (govet)
Which were fixed by re-arranging the arguments and adding "%s".
There were quite a few genuine bugs which were found too.
For example using
--onedrive-metadata-permissions read,write,failok
Will allow permissions to be read and written but if the writing
fails, then only an ERROR will be written in the log and the transfer
won't fail.
This change adds support for "group" identities, and SharePoint variants
"siteUser" and "siteGroup". It also adds support for using any identity type
(including "application" and "device") as a recipient source when adding
permissions.
Before this change, metadata permissions used the `grantedTo` and
`grantedToIdentities` properties, which are deprecated on OneDrive Business in
favor of `grantedToV2` and `grantedToIdentitiesV2`. After this change, OneDrive
Business uses the new V2 versions, while OneDrive Personal still uses the
originals, as the V2 versions are not available for OneDrive Personal. (see
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1079737/inconsistency-between-grantedtov2-and-grantedto-re)
Before this change when setting permissions from the metadata rclone
would stop on the first error.
This change causes rclone to attempt to set all the permissions and
return an error summary at the end.
Before this change, the --metadata-mapper was called twice if an object was
uploaded via multipart upload with --metadata and --onedrive-metadata-permissions
"write" or "read, write". This change fixes the issue.
