v4 is the latest version with bug fixes and enhancements. While there
are 4 breaking changes in v4, they do not affect us because we do not
use the impacted functions.

From the Go docs:
"A `nil` map is equivalent to an empty map. [1]
Therefore, an additional nil check for `opts.ExtraHeaders` before the loop is
unnecessary because `opts.ExtraHeaders` is a `map`.

strings.ReplaceAll(s, old, new) is a wrapper function for
strings.Replace(s, old, new, -1). But strings.ReplaceAll is more
readable and removes the hardcoded -1.
