Set built the timetable with *x = append(*x, ts), so setting a bandwidth
timetable on a value that already held one kept both schedules. The single-value
branch of the same function has always done *x = BwTimetable{ts}, and the other
multi-token Set methods in this package build into a local and assign at the end.
The visible effect is through the rc API. The "main" options block registered in
fs.RegisterGlobalOptions is the live globalConfig, and options/set reshapes JSON
straight into it, so
rclone rc options/set --json '{"main": {"BwLimit": "Mon-10:00,1Mi"}}'
added to the running daemon's timetable rather than replacing it, and the older
slot kept winning: LimitAt for a Sunday returned the previous 10Mi. The same
applies to a _config override on a single call, since AddConfig shallow-copies
the global.
Building into a local also stops a failed parse from leaving the previous
timetable partly overwritten, which the existing error cases already expect.
Before this change backend types were printing incorrectly as the name
of the type, not what was defined by the Type() method.
This was not working due to not calling the Type() method. However
this needed to be defined on a non-pointer type due to the way the
options are handled.
Includes adding support for additional size input suffix Mi and MiB, treated equivalent to M.
Extends binary suffix output with letter i, e.g. Ki and Mi.
Centralizes creation of bit/byte unit strings.
Before this change options were read and set in native format. This
means for example nanoseconds for durations or an integer for
enumerated types, which isn't very convenient for humans.
This change enables these types to be set with a string with the
syntax as used in the command line instead, so `"10s"` rather than
`10000000000` or `"DEBUG"` rather than `8` for log level.
The purpose of this is to make it easier to maintain and eventually to
allow the rclone backends to be re-used in other projects without
having to use the rclone configuration system.
